WordPress is close to the final release of version 3.6, and the release candidate, featuring the twenty thirteen theme, post locking and an updated revisions tool, is now ready for testing. Developers and community members are encouraged to test with this released. All problems about issues, you can post to the Alpha/Beta area in the support forums.
WordPress 3.5.2 is a maintenance and security release that fixes several issues in the blogging software. The development team suggests strongly that site admins and webmasters update their blogs immediately to the new version.
The easy way to Add Widgets to Posts and/or Pages with Wordpress plugin: Widgets on Pages. Allows 'in-page' widget areas so widgets can be defined via shortcut straight into page/post content. There is one default widget area that can be used or you can add more from the settings menu.
WordPress 3.6 Beta 3 is now available!
This is software still in development and we really don’t recommend that you run it on a production site — set up a test site just to play with the new version. To test WordPress 3.6, try the WordPress Beta Tester plugin (you’ll want “bleeding edge nightlies”). Or you can download the beta here (zip).
